In many queer friendly metropolitan and resort areas there are retirement facilties that are welcoming of queer and transgender residents. This is often the case if they are not part of the new movement of queer oriented facitlities. A few quick phone inquiries to facilities in the area of your interest may yeild more options than expected. The below questions are offered to help initiate dialog with a candidate facility. You are encouraged to add and expand or even omit questions that are not relevant to your situation.
